Power Outages Follow Sunday's Storms

Severe thunderstorms last Sunday left many homes in the region without power. The storms and high winds rolled through the region leaving thousands of people in Indiana without power during the night. In Southern Indiana, most of those affected were in Clark and Scott counties, says Duke Energy’s Angeline Protogere, and most of those outages were due to a familiar cause."Trees are almost always a culprit during storms like this," Protogere says. "But it was another typical Indiana storm during the summertime."Duke Energy says about 30 residences are still without power. They expect power to be fully restored by this afternoon.
