P'Pool Ad Claims Obama, Conway Destroying America

Using blood spattered lettering mixed with images of an infant, Republican attorney general candidate Todd P'Pool launched the first attack ad in the race for Kentucky's top law enforcement office. The 30-second television spot entitled "Report for Duty" claims President Obama is "destroying the country," and that Democratic Attorney General Jack Conway has failed to stand up to the president. It attempts to connect Obama to Conway on a number of national issues, such as abortion, the president's health care law and regulations from the Environmental Protection Agency against the coal industry.Check it out:P'Pool has pinned his candidacy largely on running against federal regulations and the president, who is very unpopular in the commonwealth. The Conway has focused mainly on state issues and his work as attorney general, but has not run in advertisements in the campaign thus far.Polls show Conway with a commanding 27 point lead over P'Pool. Political observers and early have indicated the GOP nominee's ad may have stepped over the line instead of winning over voters.
