PVA To Add New Website Feature

The Jefferson County Property Valuation Administrator's office is getting ready to launch an enhancement to its website.PVA Tony Lindauer says the new feature to be added next month, the "Neighborhood Sales Map," will allow visitors to more easily gather information on home sales trends in specific areas of the county."You're looking at a time right now when people are thinking that home values are completely down in our own area, which is not true," Lindauer said. "They will be getting a new assessment coming out this year, very soon, and will be wanting to know if it's fair for them."The map will be up and running May 1st and will be free through the rest of the month. After that, visitors will have to buy a $35 monthly subscription.Lindauer says the new map feature has been under construction for about eight months.
