It’s not every day that you can see a 12-piece Romanian gypsy band playing on the streets of Louisville.
But it happened today.
Jefferson Community and Technical College hosted its annual Unity Arts Fair at its downtown campus, and it featured (among other things) Fanfare Ciocarlia, direct from Romania.
Among tables highlighting JCTC's international community and various extracurricular activities, students and faculty enjoyed the energetic music on a beautiful spring day.
A partnership between JCTC and the Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts brings a different international band to the festival each year.
