Sensory Processing Disorder

The softest whisper sounds like a jarring scream. A normal blanket feels unbearably itchy. Nothing seems to have a smell. We rely on our senses to give us the information we need about the world around us. But for some people, those senses are over or under active. The result is Sensory Processing Disorder, and it can make the world a confusing and scary place. This Tuesday we’ll about the causes and treatments of Sensory Processing Disorder and learn what it’s like to raise a child who faces sensory challenges.
