Mar 30 Local News Living with Multiple Sclerosis In 1945, with very little known about her brother’s debilitating disease, a desperate young woman placed the following classified ad in the New York Times: “Multiple sclerosis. Will anyone recovered from it please communicate with patient.” Now, over half a century later, there is still no cure for MS, but that does not prevent people with the disease from living full, capable lives.
