Nov 10 Local News Whitesburg Oil Wholesaler Violated Water Regs The Kentucky Department for Environmental Protection has cited a Whitesburg petroleum wholesaler for contaminating the city’s water supply. Don Childers of Childers Oil Company could pay up to $25,000 for every day he violated state environmental regulations, including one that prohibits unlawful discharges into the Kentucky River.
