The Friday Morning Commute: 6am Update

There are no changes to the traffic plan in Louisville and Southern Indiana this morning. Officials say the traffic plan is working well. Our traffic notes:Clark Memorial Bridge:• Three lanes south, one lane north in the morning.• Two lanes south, two north in the eveningI-64 to Third Street is open. There’s no access to the Kennedy Bridge from I-64 WB. Drivers must use I-71 or surface roads.No last-minute lane changes are allowed on the Kennedy to I-64 or I-71. The ramp from I-65 north to I-64 east is one lane in rush hours.The Court Avenue ramp to 65 in Jeffersonville is closed in the morning. Crews are widening the I-265 ramps in Indiana.Ferry service across the river is running again today. Here’s the timetable.TARC has added several buses to routes that cross the river. Here’s the route information.Some bridge-related news:Greater Louisville Inc. is sending surveys to area businesses to determine the effect the Sherman Minton Bridge closure had on local business. The survey went out Tuesday to members of GLI, One Southern Indiana and several other business associations.And in an appearance on WHAS radio yesterday, former Congresswoman Anne Northup blamed the conservation group River Fields and incumbent Congressman John Yarmuth, D-Ky., for the city’s inadequate infrastructure. Northup specifically slammed River Fields for filing several lawsuits to keep the Ohio River Bridges Project from going forward.
