This is a Test... WFPL News Adds Newsmagazine Day 6 to the Saturday Lineup

We're launching a six week test of the newsmagazine program Day 6 on Saturday, November 19, at 4pm.UPDATE: Beginning January 7, hear Day 6 on Saturdays at 3pm, it's new, permanent home. Thanks for your input!Day 6 is designed to consider the events of the past week in a new light, and often with a surprising take. Host Brent Bambury aims for a different perspective on the biggest stories going, and he tries to pick up on some of the stories you might have missed: on news, tech, politics, arts and pop culture.Day 6 also features a regular cast of contributors who deliver unexpected and sometimes funny views on current events. As we've listened to the show, we've been impressed with its point-of-view. And we like an approach to news that understands the weekend is more relaxed, but knows it's still an appropriate time to think about the big stories.WFPL News is joining a small group of stations to pilot Day 6 for PRI. We took part in early discussions about the show in the US, and we like it, but the big test is how you feel about it.So check it out, Saturdays at 4pm between now and December 31st. And email us with your thoughts. If your email is "love it" or "hate it," don't bother. Instead, take two minutes to jot down something thoughtful and smart about what you liked or what you didn't like. That will really be helpful for us, and for PRI, which is considering national distribution of Day 6.What about Whad'ya Know? It will air from 3-4pm unti the end of the year.
