Three JCPS Schools Must Replace Principals, Says Audit

by Dalton MainIroquois, Southern and Waggener high schools in Louisville will lose their principals and have their school councils stripped of their authority, reports the Courier-Journal.The changes come as the result of state leadership audit reports. The auditors determined that the principals were no longer capable of continuing their responsibilities. Additionally, they recommend that the school councils at Iroquois and Southern should be disbanded, while the council at Waggener may continue to serve an advisory role. The schools are among six in Louisville that made the list of the lowest-performing schools in the state last fall.
