Tickets To See Biden In Louisville No Longer Available

by Sheila AshThe Vice President of the United States will be in Louisville Friday to speak to a standing room only crowd. Joe Biden will be at the University of Louisville’s McConnell Center as part of the spring lecture series. The Center’s Director Gary Gregg says he hasn’t been told what the vice president will discuss."We really have no idea at this point what he’ll speak about. We are doing a conference that day on the role of the leaders in senate history and the White House knows that so he might talk a little bit about leadership," he says.Gregg says there are many other topics Biden may discuss. As a Senator, Biden played a pivotal role in shaping U.S. foreign policy. In the White House, he's led discussions on issues and legislation related to terrorism, weapons of mass destruction, post-Cold War Europe, the Middle East and Southwest Asia. The vice president will speak at 11:30 am in the Brown and Williamson Club at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium. All of the 12 hundred free tickets for the event have been distributed. This is Biden's second visit to Louisville this year. He spoke at GE's Appliance Park in the summer.
