  • 116,000 individuals have conducted preliminary screenings
  • 157,038 calls have been handles by the Kynect contact center

Kentuckians can sign up for insurance through the health exchange at kynect.ky.gov or by calling (855) 4kynect (459-6328).

Carrie Banahan, executive director of Kynect, said aretail store in Lexington underwent renovations the last week in November in order to create more space for people interested in talking to a kynector and enrolling in the exchange.

“We set up booths where individuals could talk to their agent or kynector with partitions. We built out the back to allow more space for enrollment,” she said.

She said next year they hope to open stores in Louisville, and northern and western Kentucky.
