Two H1N1 Clinics Coming To Louisville

Two H1N1 vaccination clinics will be set up in Louisville next week.The clinics will run from 8 AM to 8 PM on Wednesday and Thursday at Papa Johns Cardinal Stadium and are intended for those at high risk of contracting the H1N1 flu.Mayor Jerry Abramson says this round of vaccinations is just the first, as more doses will be shipped to Louisville in the future."We have 15 thousand vaccinations available for next Wednesday and Thursday," he says. "Obviously that is not enough for the entire community but we are receiving these vaccinations really on sort of a catch as catch can basis."The health department says priority patients, including: pregnant women; children six months to four years old; childcare and healthcare workers; and emergency personnel should get vaccinated first. Three people have died of H1N1 related causes in Jefferson County.
