WATCH: Biden delivers a prime-time speech about democracy in Philadelphia

President Joe Biden delivered remarks in Dawson Springs, Ky., on Dec. 15, 2021 during a trip to survey the damage caused by last weekend's catastrophic tornadoes.

President Biden travels to Philadelphia to deliver a speech about what the White House calls the "battle for the soul of the nation" outside Independence Hall. The speech, scheduled for Thursday at 8 p.m., comes two months before the midterm elections and as his travel schedule, especially to the battleground state of Pennsylvania, has ramped up.
