WFPL will have a special discussion at 1 p.m. Tuesday on what an NBA franchise would mean for Louisville — the feasibility of pro basketball in Louisville and the possible positive and negative ramifications for the city.

Host Rick Howlett will ask these questions from a panel consisting of Metro Councilman David Tandy, former mayoral candidate Tyler Allen, attorney and longtime NBA advocate J. Bruce Miller and Elizabeth Post of Boxcar PR, which recently put forth a study saying the NBA would not be economically viable in Louisville.

Listeners can also call in at 814-8255 (TALK) with questions or comments.

Listen at 1 p.m. Tuesday on WFPL 89.3 or stream online at WFPL.org.
