Wind Chill Advisory Issued for Parts of Louisville Area

Update 6:55 a.m. Tuesday: Wind Chill AdvisoryA wind chill advisory has been issued until 10 a.m. Tuesday for Louisville and areas to the north, east and west, the National Weather Service said.Temperatures will be in the low single digits with wind chills as low as -16 degrees, the weather service said. A handful of Louisville area school districts have adjusted schedules because of the cold, but Jefferson County Public Schools is running on its regular schedule.Earlier: With yet another round of frigid temperatures, a handful of Louisville area school districts are delaying the start of class.So far, Jefferson County Public Schools hasn't issued a decision for a normal schedule, a delay or whatever.But these school districts have made decisions:

We'll update should more schools take action because of the cold.The low temperature Monday night into Tuesday morning is forecast to be 2 degrees, the National Weather Service said. The wind chill may reach -1o degrees.The high temperature Tuesday is forecast to be 13 degrees, the weather service said.
