Winter Storm Update: 6:30am

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for late tonight and Thursday across the WFPL listening area.Forecasters predict the snow will begin early Thursday morning, ending by mid to late afternoon. Some light snow may continue into the evening.As of this morning, NWS is predicting 3-5 inches of snow in north central Kentucky and southern Indiana, with 3 inches predicted in the Louisville metro.With temperatures below freezing, the snow will stick on roads and other surfaces, and road conditions will likely deteriorate on Thursday morning.NWS Winter Storm Watch statement
