Winter Weather to Hit Eastern Kentucky Hardest

Much of Kentucky is under a winter storm warning or a winter weather advisory, but western Kentucky and the Louisville area are expected to get only a little snow accumulation.Forecaster Tom Reaugh with the National Weather Service in Louisville says parts of central and eastern Kentucky could see between four and twelve inches of snow, but the Louisville area will see much less.“So I think snow accumulations will primarily be on grassy areas, probably on the order of around an inch," says Reaugh, "then we’ll see some light snow through the day, just minor additional accumulation, maybe another half inch or so.”Reaugh says snow will start tonight in Louisville and continue through much of the day tomorrow.
