Kentucky Third District Congressman John Yarmuth says he's ready for a rematch with Republican Anne Northup in the fall election.Northup defeated two GOP opponents today for the right to face Yarmuth, whoousted Northup in the 2006 race.Yarmuth says he looks forward to debating the issues with Northup in the coming months."And I think I know where the people of Louisville are on these things and I think they they support where I want to go, and our interests are in alignment, and I think they've rejected where Anne Northup has been and where she wants to go," Yarmuth said.Yarmuth was unopposed in the Democratic primary.
